Where I Come From: Community, Social Work, and Systems Leadership

My journey began as a Social Program Officer at Chishawasha Children’s Home in Zambia, where I supported over 300 children through education, skills development, and healthcare programs. During this work, especially through COVID-19 reintegration efforts, I learned that services alone do not create sustainable change — strong systems, trust, and community coordination do. This experience shaped my belief that meaningful solutions must consider both people and the systems designed to support them.

What I’ve Learned: Compliance, Healthcare, and Human-Centered Systems
As Director of Risk Management at Lydia Home Association and Safe Families for Children, I learned that compliance is not only about policies; it is about creating systems people can understand, trust, and apply. Through developing compliance programs, training staff, and managing operational risks, I saw that even strong processes can fail when the human side is ignored. This principle — that systems must balance innovation with human judgment — now guides how I approach AI and digital tools in healthcare.
Where I’m Going: AI, WordPress, and Community Impact
My work now focuses on building at the intersection of healthcare systems, artificial intelligence, WordPress, and community impact. I am creating digital solutions that make information more accessible, support collaboration, and help communities engage with technology responsibly. By combining my background in social work, public administration, and healthcare administration with AI and open-source tools, I am building human-centered systems that connect people with resources and opportunities.
My Approach
I believe technology is most powerful when it strengthens human connection, improves access, and supports better decision-making. My goal is to create systems that combine innovation with responsibility — ensuring that AI and digital tools serve people, protect trust, and create meaningful community impact.
